Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use Easy Cleaners, whether you are a customer looking for cleaning help or a provider offering it.
1. Who we are
Easy Cleaners is operated by SVE Ventures LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom. You can reach us at support@easycleaners.co.uk. Our postal address is:
SVE Ventures LTDLormay Place, Westbuy, NN13, United Kingdom
2. What Easy Cleaners is
Easy Cleaners is an introduction and communication platform for domestic cleaning services in the United Kingdom. Customers search published cleaner and company profiles, send quote requests, exchange secure messages, and accept or decline quotes.
Easy Cleaners is not a party to any cleaning contract. When a customer accepts a quote, the agreement for the cleaning work is made directly between the customer and the provider. We do not employ providers, we do not supervise the work, and we do not process payment for cleaning jobs during the pilot: customers pay providers directly by the method they agree.
3. Accounts
You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract to use Easy Cleaners. You are responsible for your login details and for the accuracy of the information on your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, misuse the platform, or create risk for other users, and we explain the reason unless the law prevents us.
4. Provider listings, evidence and the review badge
Providers may publish a profile only after our review. The “Required evidence reviewed” badge means we reviewed the evidence our policy requires for that provider type (identity for independent cleaners, company registration for companies, plus public liability insurance in both cases) at the time of review.
The badge is not a background check, DBS check, right-to-work check, endorsement, or guarantee. Customers stay responsible for their own checks and decisions before hiring anyone.
5. Quotes, bookings and cancellations
Quotes state a price, scope, and expiry. Accepting a quote opens the next-step conversation; the time, access, and payment arrangements are agreed directly between customer and provider. Cancellation and refund terms for the cleaning work itself are between customer and provider. We encourage both sides to confirm the scope in writing inside platform messages.
6. Provider subscriptions
During the pilot there are no live charges. When paid plans open, providers will see the full price and terms before any charge (planned individual plan: £5.99/month after a 7-day trial, with no commission on cleaning work). Because a provider subscription is a business-to-business service, some statutory consumer cancellation rights may not apply; the cancellation terms we offer will be stated at checkout and will always let you stop future renewal from the billing portal.
7. Acceptable use
You must not post false, misleading, or infringing content; harass anyone; share other users’ personal information beyond what is needed to arrange work; try to evade our review protections; probe or attack the service; or use the platform for any unlawful purpose. Never share key-safe codes, alarm codes, or entry instructions in a quote request—keep those until a quote is accepted and a visit is agreed, and even then share them carefully.
8. Content and reviews
You keep ownership of the content you post and grant us a licence to host and display it for running the service. Public reviews (when enabled) must reflect a genuine completed marketplace booking; we may remove content that breaks these terms.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). We provide the platform with reasonable care and skill. Because cleaning contracts are between customers and providers, we are not liable for the performance, quality, safety, or legality of the cleaning work itself. Our total liability to a provider for subscription services is limited to the fees that provider paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; the platform is free for customers.
10. Changes to the service
This is a pilot service. We may change or withdraw features, and we may update these terms; we will notify account holders of material changes with reasonable notice. If you do not accept a change you may close your account.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Consumers keep any mandatory protections and forum rights of their home nation within the UK.
