Agreeing cleaning for a home, business, vehicle or outdoor space involves trust. Check the provider’s scope, evidence status and the details of your quote.
Who cleaners are
Providers submit current public liability insurance and identity evidence, or company registration for company accounts. During early access, a storefront can be published while its evidence is in review. A published listing does not establish human approval, specialist competence or available appointments. Evidence files are stored privately and go through scanning before human review; a public status distinguishes evidence in review from required evidence reviewed. The reviewed badge is not a background, DBS or right-to-work check, an endorsement or a guarantee. We show a storefront’s reviews exactly as customers wrote them, tied to real completed bookings — a review can only be posted by the customer of a completed booking, once.
Your address is not public
While providers quote, they see your area and distance — never your address. Your full address and access notes are shared with the provider whose quote you accept. Access details (such as a key safe or alarm code) are revealed at acceptance and hidden again 24 hours after the scheduled visit end. Cancellation closes that access. This does not remove information someone has already received.
Money
We never hold, process or take a cut of job money. You agree the price with your cleaner and pay them directly. Nobody from Easy Cleaners will ever ask you to pay us for a cleaning job — if anyone does, it is a scam; report it to hello@easycleaners.co.uk.
If something goes wrong
Report a problem from Account → Safety in the app. You can ask support to stop further contact; submitting a report does not automatically block messages. Reports go to the support review queue and admin actions are audit-logged. We can unpublish a storefront, suspend an account, and preserve records where needed. For anything involving a crime in progress, call 999 first.
What we are not
Easy Cleaners is an introduction and admin service. Cleaners are independent businesses — we are not their employer, we do not supervise work, and the cleaning contract is between you and them. That independence is the deal: it is why cleaners keep 100% of what they earn.
